eko will be filming the three day Royal airforce air tattoo from July 16th. Held annually each July at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, the Royal International Air Tattoo, the world’s largest military airshow, has gained the well-earned reputation as one of the UK’s top outdoor family events.
eko will be filming the whole event from the ground, with the help of a golf buggy to transport them along the two miles worth of attractions.
eko are pleased to be working with Unilever, but this will be probably the shortest news story we have written as we are unable to tell you what we will be working on due to confidentiality. We can however tell you that Unilever products touch the lives of over 2 billion people every day. Thats a lot of people!
We have been neglecting our blog of late, and we thought we should just let you know that we are soon to release our new website and we promise to be better at keeping you informed (honest).
We are very pleased to say that’s it’s been all go since the start of the year, Aviva, Reebok Japan, Stardotstar, Science City York, Essex Council, and some great new clients like such as Fresensius medical care.
Science City York asked eko to film BBC’s One show science guru Marty Jopson who was performing his one man show at Bootham school in York. The one hour show was full of brilliant surprises and experiments including the very deadly Carrot Gun, and exploding camera cases, and much more. You will be able to watch highlights of the show on Marty’s website soon.
eko have just completed this special promotional film for Aviva. The film is currently playing on ITV interactive, 24 hours a day until the 8th Feb. It can be accessed by clicking the red button on your digi box remote.
The idea behind the film was to explain to viewers a bit more about Aviva, it’s ideas and values. This piece is part of a wider campaign, raising awareness throughout the UK.
eko worked with San Fransisco based company River Runs Red and Aviva to create the Aviva Island, a specialist training area, using avatars to hold virtual meetings on the Second Life Platform.
We have found over the past 9 months that we are being called upon more and more to not just film and create greenscreen content etc, but create and design more interactive content. We have been working with Local and National museums, as well telecommunication companies, regards online, and interactive touch screen displays and kiosk content. We have even been working on interactive GPS positioning software to aid movement around a large outdoor museum.
We have our eyes on iphone apps now and we will be moving forward with this in the coming months.
We have been working with our friends at Aviva to create a mini film to be shown on itv interactive, before and after the itv drama slot who Aviva sponsor. The film will go live towards the end of January, we will keep you updated.
