Northern rail training film
Northern rail is the uk largest train operator employing over 4500 people throughout the uk. eko were approached in December to film 4 real life simulations on one of its specially equipped trains. We filmed trainees reenacting what it’s like to evacuate a train when faced with a fire, or explosive devices on board, as well as obstructions on the tracks.
Our favorite part of the video though was having to walk through a train filled with smoke. The cameras picked up nothing besides a blanket of smoke and the sounds of the camera man and soundman, coughing away in the background. Very enjoyable.
