eko produces podcasts for Plum Jobs, a new national jobsite aimed at the recruitment industry

Eko were approached by Alyson Evans from Red Peg PR,to produce several podcasts for a new exciting website aimed at the recruitment industry.

Plum Jobs is a new national website aimed at those in, and those wanting to join the recruitment industry.

Alyson explains:

The job board market in the UK had become saturated. So when three recruitment business owners had a conversation over dinner and shared their frustrations about finding new recruits to work in the recruitment industry it was clear that to set up their own job board just for the recruitment industry they were going to have to produce a user friendly, eye-catching website that stood out from the competition. Marketing consultant Alyson Evans of Red Peg Marketing and PR understood that websites need to be fresh, inviting and to get the message across to potential recruits what could be stronger than to feature real recruiters who could dispel the myths about recruitment and tell the story like it really is.

“Most graduates or people at a crossroads in life don’t think about recruitment as a career. I was a law graduate with a corporate career under my belt and I, like many other people fell in to recruitment. Fifteen years later I’m still engaged and fascinated about the sector. No two days are the same. People who have good communication skills, enterprise and integrity do well in recruitment. We wanted to share that passion and I thought that short films would be the best way to get the message across in bite-sized chunks.”

Alyson was impressed by the innovative approach brought to new media by eko-create.

“They were approachable, full of ideas and efficient. I thought I worked hard but these guys brought the films in on a realistic budget, on time well within launch date.”

Check out the results at www.plumjobs.com I’m looking forward to working with the eko guys again, just hope they don’t get too booked up!
